Nurse Practitioner – Orthopaedic Surgery
Under the supervision of an Orthopaedic faculty member(s) and/or independently, provide advanced assessment and interventions for Outpatient, Walk In Clinic/“Urgent Care” and nonoperative Hand patient populations. The NP will provide and coordinate compassionate, multidisciplinary care for both pediatric and adult Orthopaedic patients in accordance with established department standards. They will develop comprehensive plans of care that reflect evidence-based standards, work closely with medical faculty, clinical and administrative staff to provide optimum patient care, and assist in developing and implementing patient teaching programs. The NP will support the extended hours Walk In Clinic, supporting the Immediate/“Urgent Care” patient population within the Orthopaedic Department. Other duties as assigned.
PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER
NURSE PRACTITIONER – ACUTE CARE PEDIATRIC NP – PICU/DOU/HEM/ONC – PER DIEM
This per diem APP position will assist with our pediatric ICU, pediatric direct observation, and pediatric hem/onc teams. The NP will need to be flexible and have the ability to rotate to multiple different pediatric specialty areas as needed. Salary range: $98.95/hourly
Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - CTICU
Join a collaborative team on our Pediatric Cardiothoracic ICU Service. As an APP on this service, you can make a difference in our patient and families lives.
The APP team works to manage the care for the patients in the Peds CTICU post operatively and pre operatively. APPs also assist in coordinating some care and provide some outpatient follow- up visits.
Please note for this role you must be certified as a Pediatric Acute Care NP
NP1 (less than 6 months NP exp) Salary range: $84.62/hourly
NP2: Salary range: $93.81-$133.97/hourly
Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - PICU
Join our Pediatric Service as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care in the PICU. The NP will work to manage the care for the patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the DOU.
The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). By using the SPs the NP is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings (Ca Nursing Practice Act, subsection(b) of Section 2725). The NP will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals. Document services rendered

Nurse Practitioner - Oncology
The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). In collaborative practice with the Medical Director, attending physicians and fellows, the NP will be responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Hematology/Oncology clinic patients. Incumbent must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision.
Salary range: $93.81-$133.97/hourly
NURSE PRACTITIONER -BOWYER ONCOLOGY – SAME DAY CLINIC
The NP functions in interdependent role by implementing the appropriate SP in urgent care setting providing care for patients with various cancer diagnoses and oncological emergencies. By using the SPs, the NP is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings. The NP will provider and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in the interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals. This is a part-time (60%) appointment in the Bowyer Oncology Same Day Clinic. Salary range: $93.81-133.97/hourly
