Nurse Practitioner- Neurosurgery
We currently have an opportunity for an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the DGSOM, Department of Neurosurgery’s Spine Program. Will need to travel between Santa Monica, Westwood and Encino facilities. The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). By using the SPs the NP is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings (Ca Nursing Practice Act, subsection(b) of Section 2725). The NP will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals: Perform and document comprehensive history and physical examinations on all pre-operative patients. Manage medical care of established/return/post op patients in collaboration with attending physicians with an independent outpatient clinic. Assure continuity of patient care at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica Hospital, and various satellite outpatient facilities by means for evaluation and management of outpatient to inpatient coordination of care.
Inpatient responsibilities include to assist in the operating room as needed. Act as a liaison between nursing staff at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica Hospital, and various satellite outpatient facilities and physicians to provide effective and consistent patient care. Act as a liaison between patients and physicians as well as administrative staff and physicians in medically related situations. Review and interpret all diagnostic data and formulate a plan of care in collaboration with physicians and other members of the medical staff. Document services rendered.
Salary range:
NP1: $84.62/hour
NP2: $93.81- $133.97/hourly
Qualifications:
MSN/DNP in Adult Acute Care NP (AG - ACNP) Specialty-required
CA RN and CA NP License- required
National Board NP Certification in NP Specialty-required
DEA, Furnishing Number
BLS and ACLS Certifications from AHA or ARC- required
Experience: 1 year experience with neurosurgical procedures- preferred
will consider a new grad NP with relevant RN experience
NP1: less than 6 months experience
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Per Diem- Hematology Oncology Infusion Center
We are seeking a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in response to the planned expansion of our infusion center hours. This position is essential to supporting increased patient volume and ensuring consistent, high-quality outpatient care for patients and families. The APP will play a key role in overseeing patient safety, coordinating timely evaluations and interventions, and improving access to care during extended infusion hours.
This is a per diem role. The APP will work Saturday and Sundays 8 am – 5 pm
Salary: $98.95/hourly
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a Master’s Degree or higher in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in Pediatrics, Acute Care – Required
CA NP, NPF, and CA RN license – Required
NPI #, DEA # – Required
Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES- Required
National Certification in Nurse Practitioner Specialty as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Required
BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – Required
PALS certification from American Heart Association -Required
3 years Acute Pediatric NP experience- Required
3 years Pediatric Oncology NP experience – Strongly preferred

Nurse Practitioner- Inpatient Hematology Oncology
The Hematology Inpatient Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides advanced care to hospitalized patients with complex hematologic malignancies, including but not limited to leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma by implementing the appropriate “standardized procedures” (SP). The NP functions with a high level of autonomy as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes attending physicians and fellows. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for the comprehensive management of patients undergoing advanced therapies such as CAR-T cell therapy, bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapy, participation in clinical trials, and standard chemotherapy regimens. This role also includes the medical management of treatment-related toxicities and disease-related complications.

NP2 : $93.81-$133.97/hourly
NP1 (less than 6 months exp): $84.62/hourly
Nurse Practitioner - Oncology/Sickle Cell Program
The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate SPs. By using the SPs the NP is able to provide specialized care across two critical programs:
60% of time this role will support patients with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) in outpatient setting, including same-day visits for urgent care needs, and 40% of time in the Cellular Therapy Survivorship Clinic, caring for post-transplant or CAR-T therapy recipients as a part of a long-term survivorship monitoring and support. NP will change treatment regiment after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behaviors and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings. The NP will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in the interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.
Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - CTICU
Join a collaborative team on our Pediatric Cardiothoracic ICU Service. As an APP on this service, you can make a difference in our patient and families lives.
The APP team works to manage the care for the patients in the Peds CTICU post operatively and pre operatively. APPs also assist in coordinating some care and provide some outpatient follow- up visits.
Please note for this role you must be certified as a Pediatric Acute Care NP

Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - PICU
Join our Pediatric Service as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care in the PICU. The NP will work to manage the care for the patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the DOU.

Nurse Practitioner - Oncology
The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). In collaborative practice with the Medical Director, attending physicians and fellows, the NP will be responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Hematology/Oncology clinic patients. Incumbent must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision.
