Nurse anesthetists thrive as valued members of the Anesthesia Care Team in a supportive team environment. A broad scope of practice and no ‘medical direction’.

The Practice

CRNAs service most surgical specialties with the exceptions of trauma, spine, bariatrics, gender affirmation, and neuro (except for a limited number of pediatric neuro cases done by dedicated pediatric anesthesia staff).  

Service provided to a variety of hospital venues including the Main Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery Unit, Labor & Delivery, Electrophysiology Lab and Eye Surgery Unit. In addition, CRNAs respond to emergencies throughout the hospital for airway management.

  • 38 CRNAs and 33 Anesthesiologists regular staff + per diem staff

Basic Qualifications:

Experience

  • N/A

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program. Graduate of an accredited school of anesthesia by date of hire. High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

License, Certification, Registration

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (California) required at hire

  • Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire

  • Basic Life Support required at hire

  • National Provider Identifier required at hire

Exceptional Total Compensation, Benefits and Retirement

  • 20% sign-on bonus ($54,000+) for offers accepted in 2025
