Role and responsibilities
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia.
The Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner contract position offers:
Monday – Friday 7:30 - 4:30pm
Outpatient Clinic
No Nights, Weekend or Holidays
No On-Call
Stable Patient Population

Job Requirements:
The Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner position will have the following requirements:
Master’s Degree from an approved OB/GYN or women's health nurse practitioner program
Or master’s degree from an approved Family Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife program will be accepted with women’s health/gynecology experience
National Certification through NCC, ANCC, AANP or AMCB
Any State License
Two years of experience in past three years
Job Duties:
Perform physical examinations on women, including gynecological conditions such as contraception, infertility, menopause
Order screening and diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound, mammography
Perform and interpret screening procedures to include cervical screening, endometrial biopsies, colposcopies and IUD insertion
Prescribe therapies and medications
