Job Requirements:
The Position will have the following requirements:
Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Current TX Nurse Practitioner medical licensure
Minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care
Current Basic Life Support Certification
Bilingual in English and Spanish encouraged, but not required
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs history and physical assessment, behavioral health care, minor procedures, patient education, and refers any care beyond the scope of local medical facilities emergency departments or urgent care centers.
Conduct intake health interviews and medical assessments
Onsite diagnosis and treatment of basic medical conditions and provide routine onsite care
Referral to the local health system for complex, urgent, or emergent medical conditions
Enhanced medical monitoring; public health/infectious disease support
Medical summaries prior to travel, transfer, or release
