Role and responsibilities

We are a modern virtual care clinic helping people quit smoking through short, evidence-based counseling sessions that are covered by insurance. We make quitting easier, faster, and more personal by pairing patients with compassionate nurse practitioners who guide them through a structured 8-session program. We’re looking for a warm, supportive, detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner who loves patient-facing work and wants to help people make one of the most meaningful health changes of their lives.

Ideally you are licensed in IL or OR and also licensed in a NCL state as well. As a Telehealth NP specializing in tobacco cessation counseling, you will: Conduct 10–15 minute virtual smoking cessation sessions using proven clinical guidelines Follow a structured evidence-based 8-session quit protocol Provide empathetic coaching, motivation, relapse prevention, and behavior support Document visits accurately using our templates (very streamlined) Collaborate with our team to ensure high-quality patient care Participate in light asynchronous communication (only occasional messaging) We handle scheduling, admin, billing, patient reminders, and insurance checks — you focus purely on patient care.

Must-Haves Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in at least 1 U.S. state Valid NPI number Experience with telehealth (or eager to learn) Strong patient communication skills Comfort delivering brief counseling sessions Ability to follow structured clinical protocols Reliable documentation habits (SOAP notes) Nice-to-Have (Huge Plus) Multi-state licensure (especially compact state license) Experience in: primary care, addiction care, behavioral health, health coaching Ability to work evenings/weekends if desired
