Join Harborview Medical Center as an Advanced Practice Provider - ARNP, Nurse Practitioner; or PA-C, Physician Assistant for Medical Intensive Care Unit. *The opening is for 90% FTE Days, including weekends, holidays, and some nights. $10,000 Recruitment Incentive/Sign-On Bonus for eligible new employees joining UW Medicine. The APP (Advanced Practice Provider), ARNP or PA, will work under the supervision of the Attending Physician on service and work collaboratively with physicians in post-graduate training programs (i.e. residents and fellows in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine).

Patient population: Critically ill patients with complex medical, surgical or neurological problems. Typical issues may include respiratory failure, ARDS (including extracorporeal life support), sepsis, cardiac arrest and complications of chronic medical conditions. Harborview is the county hospital for King County in Seattle, WA and serves patients from diverse backgrounds including marginalized populations (e.g. inmates, immigrants, persons experiencing homelessness) and is also the main referral center for advanced medical and surgical care within the WWAMI region.
