• Job Title: Locum Tenens Advanced Practice Provider - Urology

• Location: Duluth, GA (Zip: 30096) & Jonesboro, GA (Zip: 30236) – Atlanta metro area

• Position Type: Locum tenens (contract/travel)

• Specialty: Acute Care, Urology

• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient clinic, operating room, inpatient rounding

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm (10-hour shifts)

• Hours per Week: 40

• Contract Length: 11 weeks (2/16/2026 – 5/1/2026)

• Estimated Weekly Pay: Competitive

• Patient Encounters: 10–12 per shift (adult, primarily male)

• Call: No call required

Advanced Practice Provider Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Nurse licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care or urology

• Board Certified or Board Eligible 

• Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS

• Ability to float between Duluth and Jonesboro medical centers

• Strong clinical skills; able to work independently and collaboratively

Healthcare Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with operating room procedures

• Provide outpatient urology clinic care, including patient assessments and management

• Round on adult inpatients as needed

• Collaborate with medical assistants (MA), licensed practical nurses (LPN), advanced practitioners (APs), and physicians (MDs)

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered healthcare in all assigned settings

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
