A respected behavioral health clinic is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient care team. This is a full time on site role working with a supportive group of psychiatrists, therapists, and nursing staff. The clinic provides care for adults with a range of psychiatric needs including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and medication management.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently with clinical support available, enjoys longer patient visits, and values consistent follow up. Newer providers with strong psych training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychiatric evaluations for adult patients
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow up visits
• Collaborate with supervising psychiatrist as needed
• Document in the EMR and maintain accurate treatment plans
• Participate in care coordination with therapists and clinical teams
• Manage a moderate daily caseload with support staff available

Qualifications

• Board certified PMHNP
• Active Georgia APRN license
• DEA with prescriptive authority
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred (new graduates with strong clinical background considered)
• Comfortable working in a structured clinic environment
• Strong communication and patient centered care skills
