Role and responsibilities
Join a dedicated outpatient Pulmonology team in Kingman, AZ looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner. You'll work directly with our pulmonology team managing a wide range of respiratory and chronic lung conditions, with a collaborative care model and a schedule that respects your time.
Your day to day:
Comprehensive patient assessments — history, physical exams, and symptom review
Order and interpret diagnostic tests: spirometry, chest imaging, ABGs, labs
Develop and manage individualized care plans for asthma, COPD, pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, and post-COVID respiratory conditions
Prescribe and manage pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies within scope — bronchodilators, inhaled therapies, oxygen therapy
Collaborate with pulmonologists and the broader care team on complex cases
Educate patients and families on disease management, smoking cessation, breathing strategies, and lifestyle modifications
Manage follow-up care, adjust treatment plans, and coordinate specialist referrals
Document accurately and timely in the EHR
What we need:
MSN with NP certification from an accredited program
Current, unrestricted Arizona NP license
National FNP certification
Current BLS certification
Prior NP clinical experience preferred — pulmonology or related specialty is a plus
