SUMO Medical Staffing – Job #49358 | 1099 Locums

SUMO Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OBGYN / Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Pendleton, Oregon. This position begins as soon as possible (Ideally March 2026) and offers competitive compensation, full travel support, and malpractice coverage.

Position Details

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Weeknight call and one 24‑hour weekend call per month

• Approximately 10 shifts per month

EMR Systems

• Meditech (Hospital)

• Centricity (Birth Center)

• eClinicalWorks (Clinic)

Responsibilities

• IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal

• Prenatal care and routine OB visits

• Natural and emergency deliveries (with on-call physician support)

• Postpartum care and patient education

• Pelvic exams, Pap tests, and routine reproductive health

• Birth control counseling and contraceptive management

• Full-scope women’s health (excluding endoscopic procedures)

• Assist OBGYN with C-sections

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Oregon license

• BLS, DEA, ACLS, NPR

• Hospital-based midwifery experience required

• No new graduates; not accepting home-birth-only backgrounds
