Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work locum shifts in Nags Head, North Carolina (NC). Starting in May 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role:

·      Need: PRN (Critical dates in May- Ongoing 2026)

·      Schedule: Days, Swings or Nights

·      Support Staff: 6 physicians 3 APPs

·      ICU: None

·      Codes: Required

·      Volume: 20 PPD

Requirements of the Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role: 

·      North Carolina state license; active, unrestricted

·      North Carolina DEA

·      BLS, ACLS and PALS
