We are seeking a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/PMHNP to collaborate with us as an independent contractor at our general and integrative clinic. This position allows you to:

• Set your own clinical hours—schedule patient appointments via telehealth or in office and TMS sessions at your convenience

• Provide evaluation, medication management, and support to individuals undergoing TMS and other mental health treatments

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, individualized care

• Contribute to treatment planning and follow-up tailored to each patient’s needs

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and monitor patient progress

• Oversee pharmacotherapy, medication adjustments, and potential side effects

• Coordinate closely with TMS technicians to integrate therapeutic modalities

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, charting, and follow-up records

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania

• Certification in psychiatry—e.g., PMH-NP preferred

• Experience with TMS therapy and medication management for mood disorders

• Will train candidate in all aspects of TMS if not experienced

• Strong communication, attention to detail, and flexibility to manage your own caseload

• Ability to maintain thorough, compliant clinical documentation using the EMR/EHR Therapy Notes. Will train if needed.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and experience providing remote patient care.

• Ability to perform physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and medication administration effectively

The MinuteClinic Virtual Care Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner delivers patient care services through a remote technology platform. You will work in collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals as you independently provide holistic, evidenced based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients ranging in age 18 months and above. Encounters are documented utilizing an electronic health record (EHR). MinuteClinic Virtual Care providers report directly to the MinuteClinic Virtual Care Senior Practice Manager.

In this full-time role, you will:

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, psychiatric diagnosis and prescribing, mental health counseling and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices.

• Serve as a clinical expert and resource for clinical quality initiatives.

• Develop program and provide process improvement insight as a key expert in both roles providing acute care and behavioral health services.

• Provide oversight of behavioral health care, including quality and training to new providers.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic, evidenced based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI Prevention and safer sex practices.

• Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients, in addition to providing healthcare education and counseling, and disposition planning for our patients ranging in age 18 months and above.

• Provide patient counseling; inclusive of pregnancy prevention, STI Prevention/safer sex practices, contraceptive care counseling and medication management

• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to patient care inquiries

• Document all patient care within an EHR according to MinuteClinic policies and procedures

• Provide care and coordination of our patients with internal and external colleagues, including the broader patient centered medical home, ensuring the highest standard of care is provided for all patients.

• Effectively work within a patient care team, including fellow Providers, Collaborative Physicians, paraprofessionals, Pharmacists and other members of the health care team

• Work independently, prioritize and solve problems, take initiative, and advocate for their patients and their practice

Required Qualifications:

• Must hold a current, unrestricted license in one of the following states to meet minimum qualifications for this position: AZ, CA, DE, FL, IL, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MN, MO, NH, OH, RI, and/or VT. Provider selected for the position must be willing and able to obtain additional licensure.

• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent

• Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to but including Spanish may be required

• High speed/broadband internet connectivity

Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner and Psych-Mental Health program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse roles required.

Working Environment:

Dedicated virtual care providers must meet minimum requirements for remote care delivery, including: broadband connectivity, a quiet setting with a neutral background to conduct visits from, and the ability to uphold patient privacy per CVSH guidelines.

While performing the duties of the job, Provider is regularly required to interact with customers in a remote manner, site, write, operate the computer and phone, speak intelligibly, and hear patient responses.

Specific vision abilities include the ability to view and read a computer screen and other electronic devices.
